Judah and Mindi Robinson fell in love and got married while attending school at Asbury University in Wilmore, Ky. During their time in school, as they went on to do summer mission trips and discipleship training schools, they felt the Lord lead them to do missions work in Israel and the Middle East. In May of 2017, the couple moved to Franklin, Tennessee, to work for Caleb Company working to equip the church to participate in God’s biblical plan for Israel and its relationship to world revival.

While working with Caleb Company, Judah and Mindi were able to serve in Israel, Iraq-Kurdistan, Jordan, Finland, and many parts of the U.S. teaching, loving, serving, and building relationships under Jesus for the unity of the body. As time went on, they felt the Lord turning their hearts towards the local church and local body of Christ, knowing that if they were to ever live overseas, they would want to “do here what they would be doing over there.” They started feeling the Lord challenge them to consider another occupation for their little family that was more locally focused, but 100% missional and kingdom minded. 

While Mindi was pregnant with their first child from fall 2018 through summer of 2019, she struggled with constant sickness. Her sickness along side some other issues unraveled matters of the heart in both of them causing them to seek a time of healing, rest, and discovering the unspoken desires and gifts in them. The Lord began to change their direction and opened the door for a 6 week paid sabbatical before moving to Wilmore, Ky. to slow down from the hustle & bustle and be part of family-like community. Now, their focus will be cultivating the values and culture of the kingdom in their own family as they join the Treehouse team to serve the family of Christ and families and children in the Central Kentucky region.
